Inventiveness
Poet
Jasna Kinđić writes poetry that does not remain confined to words, but flows into voice, movement, and the ritual of performance. Her collection Oratorio for a Bird is poetry to be read like incantations and mantras, carrying a powerful emotional, almost healing, energy.
Singer
As a singer, Jasna uses the voice less as a conventional vocal expression and more as an instrument of atmosphere and emotion. Her performances are grounded in a deep connection with the audience and in creating a unique experience in the very moment of performance.
Percussionist
Alongside voice and poetry, she incorporates percussion as part of her performative language. During performances, she plays instruments such as the djembe, gamelan, and shamanic drum, creating rhythms that connect the physical, intuitive, and ritual dimensions of music.
Composer
In Jasna Kinđić’s work, music emerges organically through the fusion of poetry, rhythm, improvisation, and stage expression. Her original compositions shape performances in which music evolves together with text, movement, and the emotional dynamics between performers and audience.
